Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
i've been struggling with binge drinking and been in and out of a&e for 6 years now and all the support i've been offered in the community has been weekly meetings which dont seem to help.
i have 5 year old twins who live with my parents and i struggle to come to terms with this although i know i cannot take care of them full time.
i get so lonely (no friends at all near where i live) and so depressed.
i have just finished a 5 week stretch in a psychiatric ward and am at the end of my tether!
life cant go on like this.
can anyone help me out there?
i've been sober for a week now this time round.

Are you attending AA meetings once a week?
I'd been waiting for someone, something to support me to feel better when drinking and it didn't happen. Recovery is my responsibility and I have to be active and do the things I need to do to stay comfortably sober.
Congrats on a week! Keep stacking one day at a time to that. We can all do this together!
