Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

so...I be going to rehab.for 2 weeks.Than OPR
I think that would help me to jump start the process.
For some reason I'm not able to stop drinking.I hit the bottom(many times) and I know drinking means death, but my brain just don't get it.It is like I don't care at times,I need to get the mentality of-don't touch the hat stove.(don't touch the bottle)
Been to AA.But having hard time to open up.Most of time I just pretend this disease don't exist.Same like other problems I had.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I hope you receive excellent help and that you make use of it! Keep posting here if it helps, too!!!
Sending healing thoughts your way, europagrl!!! (((((Hugs)))))
I know what helped me when I came out of rehab was I used what I learn t . I stayed away from my old environments for a time and i went to AA meetings where I had a support network. i also went to some groups held at the rehab after care.
If you have unwanted baggage leave it in the rehab and utilize all that is available to you there. Counselors ,psychiatrists and groups.
I hope all goes well for you. Keep posting let us know how things are going .
God Bless...

Great start though. xo
I have no experience of Rehab but I believe that they will help you to come off the alcohol safely, and then start you off on what has to be done in order to remain sober. After you leave, it is then up to you to put their suggestions into practice. That is where AA can help you a lot.
Best of luck!...:) You can do it Europagrl! We're rooting for ya!
