Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Some of us in the program are inclined to make the mistake of thinking that the few moments we spend in prayer and meditation -in "talking with God"- are all that count. The truth is the attitude we maintain throughout the entire day is just as important. If we place ourselves in God's hands in the morning, and throughout the day hold ourselves ready to accept his will as it is made known through the events of our daily life, our attitude of acceptance becomes a constant prayer. Can I try to cultivate an attitude of acceptance every day?

Oh this is a really good one Billy, thanks! Needed that today...my day started off good and turned to shit this afternoon...I went outside and took a break and tried to adjust my brain by having some quiet time...and ya know what? It freakin worked! :) Yes yes, constant prayer! :)

Took practice to change the way I used to think. I struggled with acceptance of my past and present. How was I ever going to accept life. But accepting my circumstances didn't mean I had to like it, but it did leave me open to learn and grow through the difficult times, past and present. When I accept what comes from Gods hand, I trust that he has something to teach me along my journey.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
