I just got through reading an amazing book called "A Piece Of Cake" by Cupcake Brown....It a memoir...her story is sooo amazing and probable beyond what the average person has to go through in a life time....She was drinking and smoking weed by 11 years old and moved on to a lot worse through her life...
I would highly recomend this book....I mean at the end, I was on the verge of tears a lot...she ends up becoming a lawyer, even after dropping out of high school and living such a messed up life...It is truly inpiring and makes me want to really dive into fixing my issues with drinking, along with the rest....
Her sponsor told here that :You can do anything, and be anything, as long as you are willing to do the foot work."
After reading her story, I feel like if SHE can do it damn it, so can I....I know I just have to want it the way she did, and be a fighter like she was :)
Anyways, a very inspiring book, if you like to read (it is quite long).

I just ordered "A million little pieces". My daughter was reading it, but it was a friends book, so she needed to get it back to her.
She couldn't put the book down, and was reading parts of it to me, so I figured I better get it. I'm enjoying her reading to me too. Some us time. (o;
I love to read about how others fought this crazy disease...
"Dry" by forgot his name but also wrote "running with sicciors", both are good books....but Dry is about how he got sober and all the messy details....
