Just a quick moment to say hello or as us Aussies say G'Day Mate.
I haven't been on DS for a while so I don't know a lot of you but hopefully will and also glad to see some names I do. I am from a suburb of Sydney Australia my name is Lionel I am an Alcoholic and sobriety date 27th August 1991 and for that I am Thankful to God as I try to understand Him and AA and a beautiful 12 step program for living.The rest is in my profile which needs updating .lol

Aye up Lionel, I am from England, a country that would fit into Australia about 59 times and into the USA about 74 times. I could not help but be impressed with the stats you gave meblonde so I thought I would come up with a few of my own that I felt inspired to Google...

I'm sober since 1 May 2007 and also a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Good to hear from you. I think 2007 is the year I first came onto or looked up DS it must have been a good year for us both. My son inlaw has just gone of to the Sydney Cricket Ground to watch The Aussies and Poms playing cricket today . I think hes nuts we have had temperatures around the 40c for the past week. I guess the temps a little different over in England.I see it's around 1.40 am and 12.40 pm here. so it's goodnight and God bless...

G'day Lionel!! Not a fellow Aussie, but I have family in New Zealand and my son spent four months studying abroad in Melbourne, Swineburne University. Does that count??!! Glad to meet you mate :-)!
