Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Praying to God constantly. having your kids taken away from you. Having a good job but not the means to buy groceries. Skipping meals so that you can feed your kids when they visit. Having to be kicked around by society because you have an illness that you have recovered from. Being thankful to be alive and sober regardless of ones finacial state. Having to depend on others for help after being raised to be self reliant. Listening to a person whose alcohlism took them to lows you never thought possible. Listening to the miracle from the same man when sobered up and got a wonderful life in return. Listening to the same man talk about the death of his wife who stuck with him through it all. I am humbled.
I'm glad you finally got yourself a full belly! I had honey nut cheerios for breakfast too!! :)

I always take a fall when my pride starts to rule.
The universe "God" gives me everything I need today. As long as I let go of expectations about what I need and where it will come from. So I just put one foot in front of the other and try to do the next right thing. It always works out and usually much better than sitting in fear. Faith, Action, Trust.
I too am glad you have a full belly. I hate to see anyone hungry.
Strength and serenity to us all.
