prego had to quit only day 2

I've become so chemical dependant. If I didn't have a drink in my hand I would get my fix elsewhere. I got hooked to the high of benedryl and caffeine together. Now I just took an at home pregnancy test 2 days ago. I already knew I was but that just confirmed it. Now I'm trying my best not to touch anything. I still can't give up my nicotine. I'm really freaking being sober. I'm super irritable and mad so much. This only day 2. I know I can't have a drink or a pill for like a year. Just trying to cope. And with my hormones on full swing it hard.

Please go to the doctor and get some counselling or referral to counselling for pregnancy care. They will help you understand the risks you are facing by continuing this pregnancy balanced against the likelihood of you drinking again. Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FSA) and milder, related disorders are lifelong for the child affected. Be as knowledgeable as you can by looking at the big picture from every angle - with help from someone who has the training and resources to help you.

All hospital have programs for women like you. Here is is call "The Serene Program" It is for people with chemical dependancies.

Everyone in your situation needs help and your doctor would be the first place to get that help. She/he can tell you to the person and place that best fits your needs.

Thank you guys for your encouragement. I do need help. I'm just in a rut.y car blew up a month ago. I'm stuck in the country 40 miles from the nearest town. I'll make it. One day. Don't have any one to rely on. I'm alone. No friends to give me a ride any where. Really feel like I've fucked up royally.

You have the Internet and presumably a phone too. Which country are you in? If you let us know the international crowd on here might be able to give you some pointer as well.

I'm lucky I didn't have a problem quitting when I fell Preto with my girl. It's the only time I've been able to be sober successfully for 1.5 years all together! If I had a problem, I'd go check myself into the hospital for help. Check back in with us. Love and hugs, nikki

Thank you guys. I'll get to a doc soon. I got yo figure out a lot. I'm homeless so have no where to put as address to try and get mmedicaid. I don't have a doctor as of now. But hope soon I can figure this out.

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
