And Nemorino, I hated that you tube video, but I sat thru it.

When I ventured into anger management classes one of things right off the bat was noticing and excepting how impatient i was about everything and that kept me in so much turmoil. i had to begin to teach myself patience and my first step in doing that was STOP LIGHTS - yep stop lights - i used to sit at the light and i would praise things and blessings in my life waiting for the light to turn green and eventually it would - I began to call them praise lights instead of stop lights - this was a personal lesson for me to take a deep breath and just let the moment pass -

Lack of patience for me brings anxiety, resentment, anger and whole lotta unnecessary emotional baggage.

Good things come t those who wait.

Remember - how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop - lol - i know i am not patient enough to find that one out even when i try.

Why apologize for impatients? We are all that way sometimes but really... Maybe you are just feeling icky for being imperfect? If so, kick that yearning voice of perfection to the side and be ok with it! I know that patience is a certain virtue but stuff happens. What we do being courteous (with others, including being kind to ourselves when impatient) is so important and a challenge but we sure can learn from the frustration of it! We learn to handle it better the next go round....Especially of the "idiot" kind, lol.....yep, acceptance goes a heck of a long way for sure.

I am one who has to pray every morning to be shown the way of Patience Kindness Tolerance and Love because I lack in those areas of my life I don't know if it will ever fully happen but I am slowly getting better at it.

What helped me was keeping an open mind and listening to every word people said when ask to share at meetings and not getting up and going out side especially when they shared for 20-30 minutes .

And the big one was when they were the last speaker and went into resentment time kept sharing after the meeting should had finished.

And the real BIG ONE was was when the chair person thought he/she was the guest speaker and not there to call others to share.

They would go on for half the meeting before calling anyone and when they did call someone they would give there advice on what to do after every speaker.

Talk about Patience and tolerance. I was never guilty of any of the above. Wait yes I was .lol

You mentioned Halo did you know there are only twelve inches between a Halo and a Noose. I found this out lots of times.

Nemo I think that opera was very well sung however, I did not understand a word he sung so I am not an opera fan...I only listened to a tad of it too...since I cannot relate to the words the music seems so different that it becomes distasteful to me...the only opera I have really really enjoyed had been used in Bugs Bunny Cartoons...because they had pictures I could enjoy while listening to the foreign sounds of vocals....Bugs Bunny cartoons used several very classic opera songs in them...loved each one but it was in the presentation that makes me love it!

I'm a horribly unpatient person. In fact, I wrote a whole thread about my lack of it....maybe morning prayers would help but I dont even have the patience or focus to do that.
