I am just settling down to watch Halloween, one of my favourite halloween films - the old ones are always the best .

What are your favourites?

Too many to list them all! I love horror movies and psychological thrillers. Off the top of my head... Psycho, Night of the Living Dead, The Haunting (original), Hellraiser, Legend of Hell House, The Raven, Texas Chainsaw Massacre... you name it, I've seen it.

The best... Abbott & Costello Meet the Mummy :p

I despise the horror genre ever since they started out going to slasher films....but I liked Night of the Living Dead, The Omen, and The Excorcist ....

I'd have to say that no movies really ever freaked me out or made me uneasy after watching them. However, zombie(or zombie like) movies really fuck me up, but there are too many to list. The Rite & The Exorcist are two good ones that come to mind outside the zombie category. For cleverness and what I would call deliciously evil is all of the SAW movies. The story became kind of lame after the third one, but the devices of death never ceased to amaze me.

I think I get freaked out more by things in reality. I hear a lot of noises in my place at night and I will end up wandering around my house with my gun in hand. I think I need to move to a smaller place. This is too much house for one person.

Is anyone watching "The Walking Dead" series on AMC? I'm addicted! There's something about about Apocalyptic films that I really enjoy. Maybe that's why I liked Stephen King's "The Stand" so much.

Oh, and the later version of "Return of the Living Dead" (just a few years ago).....that one was pretty good. It had a lot of funny moments in between the terror.

Watched "30 Days of Night" on Friday. That was pretty creepy. A little too bloody for me, but creepy.

A friend posted a clip from Nosferatu... that is one creepy dude. If you've never seen the movie, watch it. Wonderful!
