About a year ago I joined DS and have been off and on the site...I was thinking about how I have changed since I joined....and I have A LOT.....When I first joined I thought I was an atheist....That lasted a few months and I was one of those anoying posters who questioned AA a lot...I didnt over post though...lol...I rubbed some people the wrong....but I kept on reading and listening too....I wanted to learn about the disease I had...I have learned SO much too.....Now, I am a religious person, I like going to church with my brother and sister-law....
I was in such a dark place last year and a lot has happened in my life over the past year and thank you all for being there for me when I had questions or needed to vent. I do think that I hae really grown through the year and this has been a big part of it, you all, reading, questioning myself, being honest with myself first....
Okay enough of all that...lol....
I am happy in my life now...still ups and downs but I am moving in the right direction...
I have messed up a few times but they where for a day here and there, no more falling down and not fighting to get back up....I know I have to take it one day at a time....
so, thank you all for helping me grow as a person over the last year:)
