Thats the title of story I heard today on the radio It's by David Sedaris who ive only become aware of in the last month or so

Before I found your link I came across a review and it said 'Though the characters may not be human, the situations in these stories bear an uncanny resemblance to the insanity of everyday life.'
The word 'insanity' definitely struck a chord :)
