I was in the room when my mother's heart beat for the last time. In fact, it was for a whole hour afterward. I watched her hand intently to see it move and prove everyone wrong....it was not to be. I told her to leave if she must, don't worry for us left behind. But here i am.....in a numb state that i know will turn to abject pain. My mother was a selfless being! I don't know if i could ever be like her. She acknowledged my Bipolar Disorder for the first time EVER before she passed--- as if a condition like diabetes! My mother was the greatest gift i've ever known!!! How will i cope without her??? She would tell all of u AND me...."Leave it all in the Lord's hands." Trust with unseen faith---- not a church sermon, just hope at its most basic.
