don't know you but, gee, you remind me of me. i kicked my butt harder than anyone--and i still do even now that i'm sober. however, sobriety took me twenty long ass years of such misery and debacles i can't hardly believe it myself. or that i'm still in this world.

It's not your brother's fault for putting a glass of wine in front of you....you wanted to take that drink more than you wanted to tell him that you're an alcoholic in recovery.

Yes, you should totally tell your family "when the binge is over" which is what I just read in your other thread. Same excuse to continue drinking as last time. You planned to stay trashed all weekend and then "sober up" on Monday. Now it's "when the binge is over"? You just gave yourself permission to continue all weekend...cause afterall..........it's a holiday right?

Hope you make it through this one without too many problems and that you'll actually ENJOY next Christmas.

i fucked up my sobriety too. Got wasted last night and am now throwing up my guts out all day. Made a fool of myself. Started a huge fight with my bf. I never learn. And i hate myself for it.
