Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Anyone have experiences in attending the same meeting as your significant other? It's been tough for me to see his public facade in meetings after knowing him in private. It was tough for me to share in front of him sometimes. It has been hard in our lengthy breakup and with our problems being public. Now I am not comfortable there until I am over him, and I found out he's been sharing about me through other people calling after he said they should call to check on me and why I'm not there (I'm not there because he dumped me, he hasn't spoken to me and since I've had problems in attending meetings with him and it's a general suggestion my sponsor made to attend seperate meetings). I would appreciate any suggestions or feedback

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
However if there are other meetings you could go to, then maybe you should try them.
But don't let him drive you out and back to drink.
Good luck and stay with it
