Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
It is a wonderful thing when you realize that someday is now.
I try to keep things in the present. I plan for the future. I look forward to future events. That's about it. One foot in front of the other and doing the next right thing seems to be working just fine for me for today.
As I hear all the time... Have a Nice Day (unless you've made other plans). :)

Today, I can make healthy choices about who I hang with and what we both bring to the table. Ah, balance in a relationship. And I'm most careful with the language I use towards myself. People are not meant to be alone but good to know that, no matter what, I can be ok in my skin.
Step 4 helped me find out who I was, which helped me to see how I became who I was, the influences in my life, and after that little trip down memory lane, I was able to see I could change and be who I wanted to be. No longer rely on others to make me happy, nor myself needing to make others happy. By being independently happy myself, I can 'share' this with others. It's MY life!
In my delusional mind as long as all the hostages were doing what I said, all was OK.
The hostages were a part of well oiled enabler machine.
That all quit working. Upon surrender, acceptance, basement level expectations, and the hula hoop theory, I just really don't care much about drama filled people or situations. I will just go float down the river with my eyes closed,,lol.
Kinda OT G, but i was just sharing my brother, have a great day.
