Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
"Love is like a butterfly; for which when pursued, is just beyond your grasp. But which, if you sit down quietly will alight upon you."
It is the time to enjoy your own company. You have been drowning that person for awhile, right?

I smiled as I read your comment because it sounded so much like what me step mom would have said to me...she was always trying to get me to meditate, and now I really want to try more...thank you for your great advise, I will do that....center myself....:)

Enjoying my own company
Learning how to be alone without feeling lonely
I remember when I lived alone. It does get lonely sometimes. But I'm the type who prefers to live alone. I really embraced having my personal space. I lived alone for 10 years after my divorce. It was awkward at first but it became a safe peaceful dwelling to learn so much about myself. With no influence, suggestion or opinions of others. This is a time to find out what YOU like. That sounds so simply put but it's true. Know you are never alone. But you will see that the more you learn about yourself, the more you will enjoy your own company. Branch out and think of hobbies or dreams you have always had and go for it!
Journaling can be comforting too when you feel lonely.
If you are interested, I will email you some meditation techniques which help with almost everything.
I'm here if you ever want to talk. Always!
Peace & ease
