Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
It struck me yesterday how much my life has been affected by others judging, through their own opinions, and how often I also judge others, and have an opinion.
Remaining humble, mixed with a desire to stay alcohol free as a priority in my life has given power to others in my opinion. I used to see them as all problems, and inputs to be avoided. I now am starting to see them as deserving an input and solutions if I choose for them to be, even if the solution is me just watching or listening to them and taking notes on what they might be doing that isn't working.
How do you all live and let others live? What does live and let live mean to you?

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I always ask myself, do I want to be right or do I want Peace? Choosing Peace every time has brought me rewards too numerous to mention.
God Bless
Most of my struggle is with physical form. I often find myself being a beauty pageant judge and I strongly dislike that role. I mean, who the hell am I to project a rating on someone’s appearance? I actually practice at the grocery store to be mindful of just looking people in the eyes and see the soul there. A few weeks ago I was shopping and doing this. I came around a corner and was suddenly looking into a woman’s beautiful eyes. I meet them with a smile and kindness. She had a disfigured side to her face but I didn’t see that first. I saw HER first and her expression went from a defensive hardness to relaxed in an instant. Because I realized later that she wasn’t used to being meet with acceptance. Working on my flaws that day allowed me to give a real gift to someone. No judgment just love.
I often remind myself that I’m just like everyone else. If there’s anything special about me it’s what is in my heart. How open it is in the moment.
I didn’t understand the part of your humility giving power to others?
I spent a month in India and that gave me a new perception on life. They are very accepting of karma and how their life is unfolding. Like bob said, our journey is too high thing to be judged.
