When trying to help a fellow alcoholic, Ive given in to an impulse to give advice, and perhaps thats inevitable. But allowing others the right to be wrong reaps its own benefits. The best I can do and it sounds easier than it is to put into practice is to listen, share personal experience, and pray for others.
Tell him exactly what happened to you. Stress the spiritual feature freely. Alcoholics Anonymous Page 93 The marvel of A.A. is that I tell only what happen to me. I dont waste time offering advice to potential newcomers, for if advice worked, nobody would get to A.A. All I have to do is show what it was like what happened and what it is like Now.

I have found that peoples personal lives are at the root of their drinking careers. Our jobs become our identity and our famlies become our source of discontent. I do find it hard to evade those inevitable questions. What should I do ? or where do I go from here? Most of the guys I sponsor have several years on the program and still when their backs are up against the wall they will revert back to their old way of thinking and forget that God hasn't ever let them down Alcoholics just can't seem to stay surrendered. They need that control . That same control that earned them a seat in Alcoholics Anonymous..

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
