I feel like this board especially has been helpful for you (and me too) in dealing with people who are not very nice. I swear, I don't know what it is-but my being cut down by people here-becoming friends and then unfriending...sending hate pm (LOL kidding you all love me) has helped me. I think this is because I see it will not kill me if I speak my mind and not everyone likes it/wants to hear it. I love that it does not make me dislike you either. That is like a revelation, that we all can be different and it is ok. And if you don't like me on here especially-it is not about me! I mean, it is never about the other-just what you project.

But damn-this is even moreso on the computer. I mean, I could be some weirdo guy in prison typing in the library to you all, totally full of crap. How do you know that you really don't like me.

SO I think I get you anna. It is great to be rejected here-good practice for when people don't like us at a dinner party. Which is bound to happen-to me atleast.

People pleasing was one of my character defects when I did my step work with my sponsor and I asked for it to be removed.

I then has a strange thing happen:-

I was going to dinner at someone's home and they asked me if I liked lamb. I just said no (as I don't). And they said 'sorry'. They were so shocked that I just said one word. There was no justification (another of my character defects I had asked to be removed) and I think it really took them back.

To me, being self aware of where I am at is a major help and I read that in your posts about you too.
