Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
As I posted previously, I told you all I was thinking about quitting drinking for Lent ~ as a 'Start' at seriously cutting way back.

Went to Mass, got my Ashes and a wave of calm has come over me. I type to you now after a good day and night of Not Drinking. 1 Down - 39(or more) days of abstinence to go.!

I have never given up anything for lent and this year, due to your post, I was inspired. Now I know why chocolate is given on Easter Sunday...........I can't wait to have some chocolate. Wonder if I can eat at 00.01 am haha
