Today I can laugh at myself. I do not take myself too seriously and I
am beginning to grow. I used to be so serious. Having the "poor me's",
sitting on my pity pot demanding attention; I was so unhappy. And I
was causing my unhappiness.
Then a friend listened to my complaints for half an hour and then
began to laugh, giving out a real belly-laugh and at that point I began
to laugh, too! My attitude was so stupid, selfish and futile that it
demanded a laugh to shake me out of it - at that point I began to grow.
Today I laugh at my funny little ways, my funny little walk, my
ridiculous pretensions, my grandiose behavior. Today with the laughter
comes humility.
O Lord, let me experience the miracle of laughter.

I really have been laughing about it....visualizing me dropping to my knees on the treadmill and begging them to stop.
Break a sweat....WHAT....my lifestyle has not been compatible with that.
Crash cart better be right in the room.....and it had better be rechecked to make sure it is ready
I will tell the nurse that if anything happens, to call me son and tell him....Yup, your Mom was right
Told son and daughter to get insurance on me.....sure bet, gonna die sometime and I want them to profit lol

Told the crematorium that the single Jaguar in the parking lot did not make me confident they had low prices. It was the receptionists...hahahah I said it soooo pleasant and polite.. Dead serious.

There are a couple of meetings I go to where there's usually a lot of laughter during the sharing. These people laugh at themselves which, in turn, makes the rest of us laugh. There are lots of alcoholic comedians I've come to find out. Just another reason for me to keep going back.

When I'm not well in terms of my mental illnesses, I am Sooooo serious. But when I see either of my psychologists we spend half the sesssion pissing ourselves because of my riciculous adventures. Time well spent.
Actually I told the cremation place I wanted a sky burial, but short of that a plastic bag in a cardboard box works fine!
SS.....I did not appreciate you telling me to cut the Crap out. I was laughing up to that. Now my mood has changed dramatically...words are powerful..minimize my feelings even though I am doing fine and laughing. Just a shame.
Just for you, I will try to buck up and be a big girl.
