Did anyone on here nearly slip, or actually have a drink last Friday, May 8th?
The reason I ask is because I nearly did...without even thinking. Someone was pouring a round of shots and poured one out and set it in front of me, and we had been talking about the old days, and totally without thinking, I grabbed it. But as soon as I got my hand on it, I thought, WTF? and quickly put it down.
Then, I went to my AA meeting yesterday, for the first time since noon on that same Friday, and there was a lady that had 4 months and slipped on Friday and ANOTHER one who had nearly talked herself into drinking ON THAT SAME FRIDAY by rationalizing it to her husband and thinking she could drink normally again.
I was just wondering if the temptation to drink was in the air that day for us drunks all over, or just in my little neck of the woods?
I did learn something though...I can't play at the same play ground anymore.

Next...I really think I might have been thinking about something last Friday, but not real sure. I have to think more on that one.

If there is anything in the air on May 8th it is something that causes young men to want to make whoopee in the outdoors.
There are others around here that watched the Newlywed game!

and I LOVED the newlywed game!!! My brother & sisters are many years older than me so I've always been much older than my years. :)
