Thank you all...wow. I took this day to be nice to myself. I am going to.......get a haircut! Whoo hooo. This is a big thing folks, as I normally have my buddy just put a bowl on my head (seriously).

Thank God for all of you. I went to a addiction meeting with a good friend last night, who suffers from a slightly different addiction than discussed here. Anyhow, as I listened, I thought of folks here and what a help this place has been for me. I basically do not do much "group" stuff and did not realize the impact ds made on my life. Much of what was going threw my head as I listened I have discussed with you folks here.

I feel like a caterpillar in it's cacoon-slowly emerging into the world again to spread my wings. It has not been easy, and the readjustement to life without a booze/pill filter has been a completely new learning experience. I have been really slow with my recovery, but I do baby steps as I was a drunk for 20 plus years and am just now learning how to be an adult sober.

It is hard, but so worth it folks. I promise.

And look-you can score the fortune of hot guys like Nemo in the process!

Thanks again fellow drunkards. It is great to be sober today. xo
