Wow I can't believe I have been on this journey for over 6 years! I was pregnant with my daughter at that time.... I am so excited that I have been so successful ! Although I have had my fair share of emotional lssues in this journey I have not gone back to what I was before. I had a 20 pill plus a day habit ! I would search for my next pill any where I could get it! It didn't matter where,..I was going from
Doc to doc to get what I could! I ended up having my primary care doc calling and questioning where I got all of these
Meds! I knew I was in trouble! At that point I broke down crying told him I had a problem and I didn't know what to do! He cut me off ! I was getting 120 pain pills per 21 days... I was so done with all of it! I tried to quit cold turkey ! Ya right ! I was so sick ! Then i was really really really sick one day I thought it was just withdrawals I had scored a few pills and though it would've ok! Well it would t go away nausa vomiting! Well I was pregnant! I had to get help! So I found a local suboxone doc ! He met me right away! He gave me my suboxone ( well subtex ) and told em to come back in on week! I did that.. I felt like a normal person! I was so happy! I continued my pregnancy to have a healthy baby girl! She really was beautiful ! She saved my life ... It was ultimately me who followed through but I had my friend and kids to pull me

what a different story than so many here....we are the alcoholism group....ours is more a battle with booze than pills...welcome back though we are still here....hugs and congrats on a healthy baby and sobriety or clean time as they call it around NA....hugs bill

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
