Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I have a saying that 'without a bad day I wouldn't know how a good day feels' and that keeps me where I need to be.
For me, sobriety isn't always easy yet the peace of mind I get, the not living in drama, more than makes up for it.
So...would be good to hear more about why you feel you are just having to 'bare' it?
Peace to you :)
.I found it necessary to have a defence against that first drink. I attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings regularly. Along my path to sobriety I found that there was so much more to getting sober than just not drinking. With the help of my higher power and the fellowship that AA provided my life has never been better. I stayed no matter what . I got a sponsor and I worked the steps. It seems to have worked for me for the last 28 years. There is a solution.
