Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I went to a meeting today! :) I feel sooooo good too. It was even better than I could of hoped for, this meeting. It was only a few blocks away and it was a very diverse group...It amazed me that I could still relate so much to everything that was being said. It was girls 6th year birthday...and hearing how people talked talked about her was so inspiring.
The meeting was about "principles before personality" How we tend to judge people by the way they look, act dress, but what we should look at is if they are working the program and so on. Others talked about how they had to change so much about what they thought and how they acted before getting sober...I really need it...I could relate so much, and it I would of seen some of these people (who inspired me) I would of thought we had nothing in common, we really have everything in common.
I realized today I am just another drunk, trying to stay sober like everyone else in those rooms.
Oh, I AM SOOOO GLAD I went today and I look forward to going back very soon....

It is a very large group but I liked it because I could just sit back and listen...
Everyone was so nice too...I even seen this one guy who used to do security at one of my past jobs..I always knew he was special...lol....I was shock at first but he hugged me and I knew we where in the same boat...it was so great...
I am in such a good mood now....I even got some other stuff done already and its still early :)

Thats Awesome. Keep going. When I lived in NJ I had big meetings almost all hours of the day and they were great.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
