Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

i am sorry i have wasted peoples time here, i cant stay clean i am going to see my dealer tomorrow and then i am getting loaded out of my goard. i was rejected by over 2,000 sober people today and i am done with it all. you will not change my mind about this, sobriety did nothing for me but make me even more miserable, alone, lonely, depressed, angry, scared then i was when i drank. i have nobody here that gives a shit about me. i went to 2 AA meetings and the people there were cold and didnt even reach out to say hello even when i said i was a newcomer. what kind of a fellowship is that? i am cursed to be drunk and dead in a ditch someday. they have rejected me so what is left? sitting on the stupid internet typing my feelings? what kind of shit is that? with no live interaction i will end up alone and eventually dead. so when people talk about hope, well there is no such thing because i tried, was rejected. my destiny is death, i see that now. nice life i have isnt it?

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

You have a choice. You can rise and whine .... or rise and shine. If you want the tools to do the later, then get yourself to an AA or NA meeting. If you want to do the former, you are clearly capable.
I wish you peace and recovery.
Hi Conceticut, good to see ya. I agree with you 100%
kis, this has been our experience and when added up, relates to hundreds of years of sobriety, hard fought for and won. Most of us have been where you are, specifically the finger pointing and blaming. You're gonna do what you're gonna do, regardless of what we virtual strangers share with you. We can't get you loaded and we can't sober you up. Ball's in your court.
Of course you didn't waste anyone's time here. People with addictions struggle and they also need information. I'm sure there are many on this forum who are still struggling on/off but that doesn't meant that they havent' learned anything from the group.....or that they won't recover in the future. But then again, sometimes there is no future if you take things too far.
You were saying that everyone in the recovery community around you was heartless? The thing is, you can't really rely on other people (or their actions) to keep you sober. Humans will often fail us because.....well.....they are human.
Most of what you are doing here is arguing for the fact that you want to keep using or drinking. If that's what you've decided to do, then I guess that's what you will do. But from past history, I think you would probably agree that it leads to nothing but dispair.
