Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

There has been a young lady that I used to date regularly, but had a falling out due to my drinking a couple of months ago. She eventually called and forgave me and suggested we be friends and so forth. We're a little more than friends now, but she has been experiencing problems with her drinking. She complains of having a lot on her mind and when she drinks, she drinks more than she wants to. She is missing work today because she is so hungover. I told her the other day that if she ever wanted to sit in on an AA meeting, that she is welcome to go. I would introduce her as someone there in support of me if she wants.
This morning she texts me asking if I was going to a meeting today and I'm not going to be able to make one, but will go tomorrow with or without her. I told her that and asked if she would like to go, she texts me back yes. I told her she could read through my big book, and took it over to her at lunch. By the time I got there, she had said she'll look through the book but may hold off on going. My question is should I push her a little to go on and go or should I let her tell me when she wants to go? I know its all about attraction rather than promotion, but it seems like she could use a nudge in the right direction.

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

Good Luck!
But always tell her she is welcomed to come along!
Peace!
