Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Do you eat chocolate alone?
Do you make sure there will be chocolate at social gatherings before you attend, even if it is just ice cream with chocolate jimmies?
Do you hide the signs of your chocolate consumption -- wiping the tell-tale stains off your mouth and hands before seeing people?
Have you thought about switching to M&Ms to hide the melted chocolate stains?
Do you rationalize having the Snickers bar, telling others that you are only eating it because you like the caramel and nuts?
If you answered yes, to any of these questions, you have a problem and can't beat this on your own. The first step is the hardest, but the most important one.
Get all of your chocolate, yes, even those hidden Dove bars, don't you DARE forget those. Put them in a box, wrap it up nice and tight. Say good-bye to them.
And send them to me.
For me, it's cake.....God how I love cake...hahaha!
It's really funny cause I never even ate birthday cake before now. Just wasn't my thing....

Ya know what? The first 3-4 months after I quit drinking, I craved turkey sandwiches!! No joke, how weird is that? I ate a lot of turkey & cheese sandwiches with mayo & lettuce. Wasn't till much later that I developed my "cake obsession". :)
Must go to Dairy Queen today for a Raspberry Truffle Blizzard..mmm..NO NO NO! Bad Shelly! :)
