today I went over to talk to my dad....and I told him I hadnt drank in almost a month.....I tryed to make it sound very casual, not dramatic, and really didnt want to come out and tell him I was an alcoholic....I guess he knew....he was so awsome.....he suggest AA and talking to my brother was is also in AA.....but he also understood me doing it on my own for now....I just told him I wasnt sure yet.....
Anyways my point is, he was very understanding and did not ridicule me....he was just supportive. It felt really good to tell him, It might add some presure on to stay sober too:) I was afraid to tell him because there is no turning back....I do not want to let him down..I wont...I love my daddy..lol...even though I am 30, it feels good to have his support, love and understanding:)
