Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
As I have mentioned often without change there can be no growth.

peace all...............and find peace in all lew.
Curtis would love pitch.
I mentioned this in a previous post .Bill Wilson once said "Good can sometimes be the enemy of the best."
When some people say if it doesn't get any better than this I'll be happy. I think to myself there can be so much more your only scratching the surface.
And I can relate to what they are saying but it comes back to this If nothing changes nothing changes.
And what is written in your post
'Well, I'm sober and I'm happy.
What more can I want, or do?
I'm fine the way I am.'
We know that the price of such
self-satisfaction is an inevitable backslide,
punctuated at some point
by a very rude awakening.
We have to grow or else deteriorate.
My disease is progressive and so is my recovery so there are certain things I must do daily to maintain my sobriety. So when my disease raises it's ugly head I'll have the tools to smash it.
Today life is real different and it's been because of change and growth.
Even though I suffer from Peter Pan Syndrome.lol
Thanks for posting.
God Bless..
