Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
My husband has agreed to quit drinking with me. I think this may be exactly what I need to stay sober. At this point, it's just too hard to quit when alcohol is readily available.

If he's not alcoholic he'll likely want to go back to social/ normal drinking. My husband drinks socially and its not an issue for me. Though early on he ordered soft drinks when we were out socially and that was super helpful. Moral support helps:-)
You CAN do this, stick with it no matter what.

I've learned that my sobriety is not and can not be dependent on another's. Support is great which is why I'm here and attend meetings.
