Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Has this just become a problem for you since you stopped drinking? I was the opposite. I just sat around and drank and neglected everything else. Now I am pretty active in AA and that keeps me busy and I usually have lots of energy to get other stuff done. I was one to stay at home and isolate. Now I venture out and do things.
How are you staying sober? Just the campral?

Age related, poo
I had a Cat scan and MRI....showing my brain had shrunk abit but should be fine.
Best of Luck
I had a hard time opening up to my physician about my drinking. When I did, I was the one to suggest antabuse. That did not help. Nor did sheer willpower. Willpower who???
I'm probably in the same funk as you but the difference is I read vs watch tv. The book I'm reading right now? The Big Book. (Also the tribulation series which can be quite addicting)
My advice, for what it's worth, is get out and about. Do some volunteer work, visit AA, help others. But most importantly, give your doctor a call!
So when I need to get out of rut I need to change something. It sounds like you are preoccupied and not concentrating well. My advice is to go to a meeting a day and ask the group what they think and get feedback. good Luck!
