Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

As to traveling the world....we have a wonderful guy in our HG who travels for AA engagements all the time. He doesnt make money on it. I've heard many speakers say they don't make a dime on speaking but the do it for their sobriety and ours. I choose to believe that:-)
I don't if Mr Sponsorpants is AA and I don't care enough to find out. Nowhere in my copy of the Big Book is there any reference to "silent ticking bombs". However, it does reference being "safe and protected" on page 85. "We are not fighting it, neither are we avoiding temptation. We feel as though we had been placed in a position of neutrality - safe and protected. We have not even sworn off. Instead, the problem has been removed."
A far cry from bombs just waiting to explode!!
The little whisper could set off the bomb tomorrow, a week from now, next year, or God willing, NEVER! Personally, I'm voting for "NEVER".
