Any women in Indianapolis want to go to my first AA mtg with me on Monday at 6? I'm not sure I'll make it in the door if I go alone.

The only part you'll have to do alone is drive there, get out of the car and open the door. Then you won't be alone anymore!

I hope you find someone to go with you, but if you don't......GO-you can do it!!! You had no qualms about walking into the liquor store or a new bar alone for your first time did ya?

I know it's not easy, in fact it's scary as HELL. But once you get there and someone says hello, you'll feel much more at ease.

Get over a few minutes of being uncomfortable..its' worth it in the end. Good for you for takin that step girl! :)

Live - I went to my first last week. It's nothing like you might think it is. Very welcoming.

Just go regardless. I went to my first one alone cause I wasn't sure I could stay sober til my friend could go with me a couple days later. Best decision ever. I think it was more empowering that way and also kinda set a precedent for me that was a good thing.

The hardest part is walking through the doors. Once there you will be amazed at how much people will welcome you.

It is a magnifacent journey, one in which I am grateful every day that I chose to take.

Take that first step, you will never regret it, then you can begin a life beyond your wildest dreams.

Here's a link to all the womens groups in your area. Your fortunate to have a few available, so don't procrastinate. HowTo.. you DO have the courage inside of you to do this. Draw on it will all your might and WANT it, want it bad with all your heart. Get to the door, and we'll all be with you in spirit okay. Picture yourself walking through the door, and do it. You won't be alone.
