Any of you who know me , know that I believe in free speech and taking care of yourself out here. However, my free speech does not give me the option to impinge on your rights.
Clearly, some of these post of late are targeted, abusive, crude and potentially dangerous. These sick bastards should be long term banned!
So here's my question. Why doesn't DS ban their IP address instead of just screennames? They can plant a cookie on an IP address, they can take a pic of you and tell you're having a bad hair day from 23,000 miles above: So they can ban IP addresses.
Yeah, I know Mr. "don't censor us" is calling for people to be permanantly banned. I'm aware of the irony, however, these people have no right to scare, intimidate and abuse our members!

Reverse phycology would infer to me... They clearly tried to cause me trouble .. Fair play to them.. They succeeded.. Think about it .
You know, it doesn't make a whit that this person (or any other, for that matter) doesn't have the "right" to do the things they did. They are going to do it anyway - until they have an adequate reason to stop doing it. It's akin to drinking alcoholically. I drank until the pain of stopping was less than the pain of staying drunk. I harbored and fed my resentments and anger until the pain of keeping them was less than the pain of giving them up.
Ain't doing that today. Life is good for this drunk - in spite of the world, not because of it...
