My sponsor had me read step two over and write about what I was thinking about when I decided to go to the store....I was blaming God again and felt I was not strong enough to handle this situation....I was going to show him, lol. I guess he showed me by not having my wallet to pay for it! lol
I think I really have learned a lot for my almost slip...and the loss of my cat. I still miss him but I know that I AM STRONG ENOUGH now! And that God does not abandon me when I need him most!! I learned that there are women that do care about me, that called and checked on me and that felt REALLY good too. I am learning a lot in the program and it is pretty amazing!!! I think this has made me a lot stronger in my program too!
I might always miss him but I know I can not go on the self-pity pot, because it will get me now where but drunk. I am very grateful for all that I do have. I have two other cats wonderful and need me :) I have so much more to be grateful for....and I can not give up! I wont give up!!

It sounds like you have a great sponsor ~ do what she tells you! LOL I hated being "told" what to do ~ you know how we alcoholics are. But she was wiser than I was -- she got me thru some rough times - and that's how I've got almost 18 years!
