Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
As to whether or not drinking is a problem, I think you know the answer to that.
You are just starting out in life, and you have so much ahead of you. Take the wonderful opportunities you have at hand and get the tools you need in order to get your life in order.
I wish you nothing but the best of luck!
Hugs to you.

You don't "need a drink" Tell your Therapist what you are thinking when you are drinking, before during and after.
Your drinking patterns sounds a lot like mine was, which isn't per-say a "problem" but it's developing into one if you let it do so.
And i don't know kiwikev. I think i could be on my way to it being a problem, perhaps.
I do want to commend you, though. Most 16 year-olds wouldn't even consider getting on here and asking others for their opinions. I think it's a very adult thing for you to do and shows that you are very conscious of yourself and your actions. Both of which will help you with bipolar and drinking, should it ever be a problem.
Good luck!
Do try to be honest with your counsellor, it's really important that you get as much help as you can to get stability and support in your life as you clearly have so much potential.
