Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I have been sober for 97 days, and feel great. No cravings, or red flag situations that I couldnt handle. My wife left this morning to visit friends for a long weekend, and I am home alone. For some reason, I woke up this morning thinking about booze. I don't want to destroy all the work I have put in, but it keeps popping in my head. Does this happen to anyone else on here? It came out of the blue and I am concerned, I may crack. Thanks for reading.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Might be a good idea to seek treatment if you continue having problems.
God Bless
Hope to build solid friendships, with some of you. All the different suggestions, put a wide view on how everyone deals with it differently. I common goal, stay sober.
I remember one thing, my counselor stressed when I was in the IOP. When you get a craving, THINK about the consequences of your actions before picking up that drink. That always worked for me.
God Bless
