My son tried to kill himself around 10 years ago. I just took him to the hospital. He's having another episode of depression.

I didn't drink then.... I'm not gonna drink now.

I don't know what to do though.

I looked online and found a couple of sites that may be helpful to some people.

When you don't know what to do pray and continue to be the best father you know how to be in your son's life. Have you tried to seek family counseling or individual counseling for your son?

Thanks to everyone for the comments.
My son should be out of the hospital soon.
Hoping for a speedy and full recovery.

I don't think family counseling is needed. My son and I get along really well.

He'll be getting individual counseling when he gets out.

I'll be here to support him, and we'll have a long talk when he gets home.
