Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I've made it to another day 5 (almost too easily that it's scary, but I really feel one of my triggers is confidence after several weeks - but I'm going to try to keep how I felt on day 1 clear in my mind - I don't want to be there again!).
Thank you all who have written in these pages and have be-friended me - I can't believe what a difference that makes as well! (I have not tried AA (other than one meeting 15 years ago, and it appears they don't even have them in my town anymore - though they do have an NA)).
But, when I do start to feel myself thinking about the possibility of having a drink again, I will investigate Smart Recovery. I checked into it briefly a year or so ago, and it did look like it had alot of great tools.
Anyway, thank you again, and please don't worry about me if you don't hear from me for a few days here and there in the next 2 weeks as I'll be away from home with unknown internet access. I will be camping at a few different spots in FL - this is a good thing, and a very easy place for me to abstain. I just go out in God's space and get high on nature.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
