So good to come here first thing in the morning to get my head on straight! So many things to be grateful for - especially in this day and age of so many man made and natural disasters... every moment is a gift. I must take it moment by moment, day by day.

Congratulations my friend!!! (: hang in for as long as you can. I sobered up once lasst year in august, for about 5 months, had a slip up, and now Ive been hanging on since august 2nd of this year! Everyday is a struggle however it most certainly gets easier! Anyways, keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! You are so right! Every morning I take a few moments to give thanks for all that I have and I end it with a short meditation to mother gaia (Mother earth)

It was good to see this post, I can tell this person is grateful, hopeful, and optimistic about being in recovery.

People around this person are going to benefit from that great attitude. Nothing we can do but respond with positive attitudes, helpful spirits, and courage to natural disasters. Every moment is a gift, and living life is a blessing,

Moment by moment is a great way to plan for the day. 24 hours a day not only makes life simple, it allows us to appreciate the small things in life, that if not appreciated will build up a wall of contention and adversity that we might not be able to overcome on our own.

Just wanted to say it was such a relief to see someone with such a healthy and positive topic, very positive and very awesome.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
