Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
It is easy to let up on the spiritual program of action
and rest on our laurels.
We are headed for trouble if we do, for alcohol is a subtle foe.
We are not cured of alcoholism.
What we have is a daily reprieve
contingent on the maintenance of our spiritual condition.
Every day is a day when we must carry the vision
of God's will into all our activities.
"How can I best serve Thee -- Thy will (not mine) be done."
These are thoughts which must go with us constantly.
We can exercise our will power along this line all we wish.
It is the proper use of the will.

gim, thanks I needed this today just to remind me I have a higher power and need to talk to him now. I have been out of sorts all day could it be that simple, I didn't get on my knees this morning. No wonder I am so messed up today, thank you again oh, it does work if used daily.

This kinda came to play today G. The dude I have been working around for 20 years told me he ran outta pot around three days ago. I hid from him all day. My old will would have strangled his moody ass.

Sure does make a difference in my day when I start with my spiritual routine. I don't take my 24 plus years for granted. Today is all I have and all I want. Thanks, sara

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
