Have you ever been to an AA meeting and the topic of discussion was directly related to you and your circumstance, without you even saying a word?

That's what happened to me this morning and I can't help wondering if this was by accident or by design?

I missed going to church this morning for favoring laying in bed...but that message there is still a part of today for all those who were there...I just missed out on it....hugs bill

Yes fairly regularly. For me it illustrates how un unique I really am in my alcoholism. Its a common struggle and a common solution!

Paul, that article reminded me of a story from quite a few years ago. I was driving to New York from Florida with my mom. We're on the subject of Alec Guinness and his movies and the Bridge on the River Kwai came up. I said "is it the Bridge ON the River Kwai or OVER the River Kwai." My mom said "On the River Kwai." I said oh boy if I had been on Jeopardy I'd have gotten it wrong.

So, we stop in South Carolina for the night, turn on the TV and guess what question was on Jeopardy??? YEP! And the man got it WRONG! Ha!

Talk about weird stuff. Holy cow.
