Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

You know, it reminds me when I was a selfish, asshole of a drunk, I used to drink/drive/drug before going to the pub or nightclubs, and then drive home - what a f...wit I was, just cared about myself and having a good time, all about me, me,me. I am ashamed now that I thought that was okay and didn't give it a second thought. Thank God I am sober now and would never, ever do that now.
On a happier note, congrats on your sobriety, am so proud of you, you are doing amazing and sticking to your guns. And yep, when we were drunks, we drank for the good times, bad times, anytime, anything was an excuse, but when the fog clears, we were just alcoholics with a physical allergy & a mental obsession of the mind x
It’s a little strange to me to hear someone setting a date for sobriety. I had a different experience. When I quit I knew it was for the rest of my life. It was like a switch flipped in my mind and I was done. Guess I had enough. That decision make it easier for me. Never again is final.
Have a good holiday:)
