I have just been for coffee and cake with a couple of AA friends to celebrate 5 years sobriety Also had a big cake at my home group on thursday and some nice cards which I really appriciate
I came on DS 3 years ago and which looking back now I am so thankfull for I have learned so much from so many people on hear and have had a lot of support from people I have never and probably will never meet face to face Thanks to everyone who has helped me find sobriety one day at a time wishing eveyone a happy sober sunday

I found sobriety with Alcoholics Anonymous. There are lots of meetings in London - far more than where I live further north! I hope you consider trying AA if you have not already?
Alcohol can kill or badly injure us in many ways sometimes it can take many years but falling down the stairs could have been fatal
Hopefully that is your realisation that it just isn't working for you any more. You can turn your life around in your 30's your so worth it we all are
