Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Sounds like a money-making scheme for greedy pharmaceuticals to me. 3 Days is plenty to take anything to relieve craving. Craving only occurs while our system is still processing alcohol remember. They speculate that 73 hours is enough to rid the body of the sauce - 1 week max. I detoxed myself 8 times. I never physically craved alcohol after about day 3/4.
Any issues after that period are purely mental in my experience.

To me life itself is theater, and taking our roles as protagonists in some cosmic drama too seriously can be crushing. What if what we call the self is just a costume that we'll leave in the dressing-room when the show is over? Doesn't that lighten the load, at least a little?
The world is but a stage and we the mere players....

An especially useful feature there is that Campral is compared to other drugs, such as Antabuse.
He did great for a few years -- it was hard, but he stayed sober.
Then he hit a rough spot and he was scared for his sobriety. He took Naltrexone for several months and got through it.
I hear Campral is also effective for people who are motivated.
A doc wanted to put my sponsee on it.
So -- a good doctor will know best.
Best of luck!
