Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I just drank in the house to as a have kids and my husband is in the police so never at home for me to go out, I liked the secrecy of it all it is part of it of me, it was my thing, but now , I use AA like that I go and meet people who understand me and where I can be honest bout all.
I can't drink at all, I know that , so I have to do something else or I will go mad xxxxx hope your ok don't pick up please xxxx
Day 5 is tricky. No wonder that you still feel some cravings. Hope that you are not suffering from withdrawal symptoms. If you do, ask for medical help. It is serious, you know that?
Don't worry about your girlfriend, Ask her when she comes home why she did it if you want to know it. But it doesn't matter. Not she, you're the alcoholic who wants to stop drinking. And stopped for 5 days! Great!
Hope you did it for yourself and not for anybody else.
What matters is only you and your desire to give up alcohol. Don't wait. Go out and find the people who can help you. People, who like you, are recovering alcoholics and understand you. In my opinion, the best place to go is an AA meeting. It's much better place then a pub. You will see.
Wish that your girlfriend will support you. It takes time till the family or people close to you can trust you and learn how to support you.
All the best.
Glad to hear you're hitting meetings! I can't imagine a better way to spend an evening other that surrounded by my brothers and sisters in recovery and hearing the message.
Cheers!
