Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Through my experience in AA and at the program I have met so many great and understanding people who share the same feelings and experiences as me. A place where I finally feel I belong. I searched for along time for internal peace, satisfaction and happiness. I never thought it would have been through AA, but now I am glad that it is.
i've heard that people who are not alcoholics don't spend time wondering if they might be
I always minimized my own consumption by pretending that most other people drank as much as I did. It was never true though - I always drank more than they did.
I believe I dodged the bullet. Time will tell, Right?
Use to be able to out-drink the boys
Use to know the feel of handcuffs
Use to tell my family off, in a blackout
Still have to have liver biopsies
Yes, I am an alcoholic
