I'm codependent and try to work my CODA Program
Okay so my boyfriend is currently in a sober living home, and I paid his first 3months in the program . Before that he was in jail for 3 months for a dirty urine. i know he is working AA, but because of addiction to him, I worried more about keeping him from going back jail.
He has found a job and working on getting sober, that he doesn't want to stres out about goes on at home. Yet hear i am about to get evicted, and I only have 5 bucks to live on until April 25 when I get my social security.
He has a job. Is it selfish of me to asking him or tell him that I have no money for the rest of the month? Am I being selfish ask him to send me money to help me out?

You gave (lent) him money when he needed assistance, it is only fair that he reciprocates when you need assistance. But in the future, I would really consider how your attempts to help your BF financially (and I think this is probably a huge symptom of COD behavior) will jeopardize your own financial standing.
I was raise to take care of a man before my own needs. I'm 37 and have watched my dad put my dad before herself. It will take time to change. Heck my last BF I bought a truck scary as it sounds I'm doing better than I was.
I'm just didn't know if I will hurt his sobriety by letting know that strugglingling?
I once bailed out a guy from jail he paid me back with hot checks. My mistake was bailing him out in the first place. I should of left his butt in there. I let him out on the street again to hurt others.
